Lightning Storm Time Lapse

This is a first attempt at a time-lapse video. I shot a ton of pictures tonight as a storm passed over Austin, Texas. I didn't get any decent lightning strike photos but decided to try turning them into a time-lapse movie. The exposures were on the long side (30 seconds) so it's so-so. Highway on the right, railway on the left.

Very clever! Can't say I miss Texas storms...especially the ones with a threat of a tornado.

Thanks, Jan! I love the storms here - think they are amazing. Having said that, we did have a rotation above us two nights ago as Tropical Storm Hermine rolled in. Spent some time in our beloved bathroom!

Hope all is well with you and the family!

Thanks, Jase! That Tokyo stuff is excellent. Have you seen the Bathtub videos from the Australian chap? it's a combination of time-lapse and tilt-shift (that's a mouthful when intoxicated!). I may explore some more timelapse stuff, me thinks...
