Denton, Texas HDR

Below are some HDR shots taken around Denton, Texas over the recent Thanksgiving holiday.

Very nice! :-)

Clouds really make HDRs pop! Are you using a single shot or are you using multiple exposures?

Thanks, Jared! I agree - these shots come out exceedingly well when you have some neat clouds to work with.

These were taken using three images each, one at EV0, one at EV-2 and one at EV+2, all shot in raw and processed in Dynamic Photo HDR software. My camera does NOT have auto bracketing, so I need to carefully adjust the EV settings manually between each shot. That is a bit of a pain but it's teaching me patience, much like my other hobby! :-)

I hope you had a good TG!

Auto bracketing is nice! I just got a new point and shoot and that was one of the "must haves" that it had to have. only does +- 1EV though. Extra points for putting in the effort since you don't have it!

TG was good! Hope you had a good one as well!

Consider using your laptop with Nikon Camera Control to make the setting changes on the camera. It could be less prone to camera movement.
