Denton, Texas HDR

Below are some HDR shots taken around Denton, Texas over the recent Thanksgiving holiday.

Clouds really make HDRs pop! Are you using a single shot or are you using multiple exposures?

Thanks, Jared! I agree - these shots come out exceedingly well when you have some neat clouds to work with.

These were taken using three images each, one at EV0, one at EV-2 and one at EV+2, all shot in raw and processed in Dynamic Photo HDR software. My camera does NOT have auto bracketing, so I need to carefully adjust the EV settings manually between each shot. That is a bit of a pain but it's teaching me patience, much like my other hobby! :-)

Auto bracketing is nice! I just got a new point and shoot and that was one of the "must haves" that it had to have. only does +- 1EV though. Extra points for putting in the effort since you don't have it!

Consider using your laptop with Nikon Camera Control to make the setting changes on the camera. It could be less prone to camera movement.
